Ideally located on the Route des Grandes Alpes and close to the start of the hike to the Valley of Wonders, our 3* campsite offers different types of pitches, all flat and demarcated, for a relaxing and calm stay in the Nice hinterland.
At the gates of the Mercantour national park we welcome you with your tent, caravan, camper van or van on one of our 46 pitches along the Vésubie.
Check-in : from 3 pm until reception closes (7 pm low season – 8 pm July and August)
Check out : until 12pm
For arrivals without reservation, payment for the stay is made upon arrival.
Here, from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m., you’ll enjoy peace and quiet.
If for you, vacation means late nights and/or parties, our campsite won’t meet your expectations: here, you can enjoy during the day and rest at night.
There's no time but the right time
No arrivals or equipment setup will be possible after reception closes. Any "wild" installation will have to leave the campsite immediately.

Our pitches
Camping Les Templiers has 46 pitches, including only 10 campervan pitches. Some pitches are very shaded, others benefit from shade in the morning or afternoon, and still others are exposed to the sun all day. But rest assured, thanks to the surrounding mountains, all pitches are in the shade by 7:30 p.m. at the latest, during the height of summer.
Shaded pitches are allocated in the order in which they are booked, based on availability and length of stay.
At Camping Les Templiers, we don’t require campers to book in advance, and we don’t impose a minimum stay on a pitch. We welcome everyone, as long as we have spaces available, keeping in mind that the campsite is regularly full in July and August.
However, we still encourage you to book your stay up to the day before your arrival if you already know you’ll be staying with us. It won’t cost you more; our rates are the same whether you book in advance or not, and it will allow you to benefit from certain advantages.
Indeed, we always prioritize the “best” pitches for campers who have booked. If you absolutely want a shaded pitch, a pitch far from the river, a pitch close to the restrooms, etc., then we strongly recommend booking in advance (at least one month in advance for July and August).
Furthermore, by booking, you help us better organize our schedule. We don’t open the same number of toilets for 10 or 50 campers, we don’t mow the same number of pitches…
In summary, by reserving, this allows us to welcome you in the best conditions.
Backpacker - no car

P'tit Bivy
1-2 persons
Le P’tit Bivy promises a unique camping experience for a romantic getaway or a solitary adventure.

Basic package includes :
- 1 person inside the P'tit Bivy (max 2)
- A 2 person mattress is included. Please bring your sleeping bag / pillow

- 1 vehicule OR 2 motos
Tent/Minivan and Campervan/Caravan pitches with a minimum surface area of 80m² can accommodate up to 6 people, including a maximum of 4 adults per pitch. A pitch generally allows for 1 large tent (5-6 people) + 1 car OR 2 small tents (3 people) + 1 car. The campsite declines all responsibility if the equipment provided by the customer is too numerous or too bulky and does not fit on the pitch.
* Any additional vehicle must be parked either free of charge outside the campsite, or in the car park at a rate of €5/day (depending on availability)
For any convoy (motorhome + trailer / car + caravan …) longer than 7m, please contact the campsite before booking.
2 animals max per pitch under certain conditions & acceptance by management.
The campsite is not accessible to vehicles after reception closes.
Barbecues are strictly prohibited on the campsite.
Equipments
The campsite has 2 toilet blocks, one to the south and one to the north of the campsite, both easily accessible from all pitches.
The main sanitary block has PMR access with ramp and a PRM cabin with shower and WC.
A washing machine and a tumble dryer are available all season during reception opening hours. We lend dryers free of charge, on request.
Located next to reception, the reception tent is available to campers all season, whether to recharge your phone, shelter from the rain, read a book or eat comfortably seated at a table.
The tent also houses our rental refrigerators, all secured with a padlock.
Booking
Nightly reservations all season. Choose “Available days” in the “Duration of stay” pane to see all availability.
Bookings are possible until 8 p.m. the day before your arrival. After this time, pitches will be allocated in the order of arrival at reception, starting at 3 p.m.
