The owners are very friendly and always offer good advice for sightseeing and hiking. This campsite is quiet and ideal for early-rising hikers. The pitches are large, and the restrooms are clean. Games such as the pétanque court, ping-pong table, foosball table, and soccer field are readily accessible and in good condition. The biodiversity of this campsite is well represented, with fireflies, for example. The communal organic swimming pool, a 5-minute walk away, is very pleasant and large.
Thank you for a pleasant stay in the Mercantour region.

Our stay at the campsite was a real breath of fresh air! The location was simply idyllic for hiking and relaxing.
We were welcomed with warmth and kindness that made the experience even more memorable. The owners are attentive, always ready to share good tips and make sure everything goes smoothly.
The campsite is clean, quiet, and perfectly suited to four-legged friends, which is a real plus! Our dog was able to enjoy nature in complete freedom.
We will definitely be back! A big thank you for these moments of pure happiness.

Q&A

Your questions, our answers !

Yes! We love animals as much as nature, and they are welcome at the campsite in all seasons, with a limit of two animals per pitch or rental unit (depending on the type of accommodation).

Category 1 and 2 dogs are not allowed.

Price: €2/day per animal (dog/cat/small rodent/rabbit). For any other type of animal, please contact us.

Yes, we welcome campervans and motorhomes up to a maximum of 8 meters. We have about ten dedicated pitches for them within the campsite, with a package including electricity and access to the waste disposal area.

However, we would like to point out that access to the campsite is via a narrow mountain road. Vehicles up to approximately 7.5 meters generally have no particular difficulty. Larger motorhomes (between 7.5 and 8 meters) can still access the site, but drivers must be comfortable driving and maneuvering in narrower sections. We encourage you to check the access route on Google Street View before booking.

Yes, our campsite is certified as a “Bike Friendly” establishment and regularly welcomes cyclists touring the Route des Grandes Alpes. Located near the Col de Turini and the Mercantour National Park, it’s an ideal stopover for exploring the Alpes-Maritimes region by bike.

We offer several dedicated services: a covered area, microwave, tool kit, and a shaded rest area to relax after your ride.

To encourage sustainable transportation, we also offer a low-cost cycling package for cyclists.

The campsite is located in Roquebillière, at the gateway to the Mercantour National Park. The main hiking trails in the Mercantour are accessible in about 30 minutes by car from the campsite. Our location also makes it one of the closest campsites to access points to the Vallée des Merveilles and the Refuge de Nice.

The Valley of Wonders (Vallée des Merveilles), a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is accessible only on foot from mid-June to the end of October. The campsite is a 30-minute drive from the trailhead to the Valley of Wonders. In summer, a shuttle bus (a 5-minute walk from the campsite) also provides access to the trailhead.

Yes, our campsite is located in the immediate vicinity of the Route des Grandes Alpes, between the Col Saint-Martin and the Col de Turini. It is an ideal stop for cyclists, motorcyclists, motorhome owners and travelers wishing to discover one of the most legendary routes in the French Alps.

No, the campsite is located in the hinterland of Nice, about an hour’s drive from the beaches of Nice and the French Riviera. This allows you to enjoy both the peace and quiet of the mountains, the cool air of the Mercantour National Park, and day trips to the Mediterranean coast.

Yes, our campsite is a small, friendly establishment, nestled in nature, where tranquility is a priority.

We personally ensure that peace and quiet are maintained after 10 pm, and festive gatherings are not permitted, guaranteeing everyone a restful night’s sleep. This approach helps preserve a serene atmosphere, conducive to rest and relaxation, in the heart of the mountains.

Pitches can be booked for overnight stays throughout the season.

Some mobile homes are also available for single-night stays, depending on the time of year and remaining availability. We invite you to check availability directly through our online booking system.
